Acesur is proud to announce our new facility in the US. Opened in 2021 in Suffolk, Virginia, our new packing plant has 2.2 million liters of oil storage, three bottling lines (with a fourth one planned for the end of this year), and Orthodox Union Kosher, BRC, and Non-GMO certifications.
Although our history of exporting to the US started in 1975, the Suffolk facility is our first permanent holding of its kind in North America. We will be handling bulk oil imports from Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Tunisia. This new endeavor is projected to bring $11 million and 29 new jobs to the State of Virginia.
